Στην τελευταία συνάντηση του Σαββάτου 11 Νοεμβρίου 2023 στην Εκάλη συμφώνησα με τα δύο ζευγάρια που τελικά εμφανίστηκαν στην πρότασή τους να μεταφέρω τις συναντήσεις το μεσημέρι της Κυριακής μεταξύ 11.00-13.00, επειδή θα εξυπηρετούσε καλύτερα τους ίδιους και μελλοντικούς παίκτες. Καμία αντίρρηση από την πλευρά μου, είμαι πάντα δεκτικός σε προτάσεις, αν και το σκεπτικό του Σαββάτου είχε λειτουργήσει θετικά το 2022. Επισημαίνω για πολλοστή φορά  ότι η θέρμανση και η διαμόρφωση του χώρου της βιβλιοθήκης κατά τις ώρες εκείνες βαρύνει εμένα αποκλειστικά και το ποσό που διατίθεται για τον εμπλουτισμό της βιβλιοθήκης αφαιρείται απ' αυτήν σε περίοδο ισχνών αγελάδων.
Η ανταπόκριση μέχρι στιγμής που γράφονται αυτές οι γραμμές είναι απογοητευτική: μόνο ένα ζευγάρι και δύο ασυνόδευτοι άνδρες (baladeur) δήλωσαν συμμετοχή, ο ένας μάλιστα για τα «Μάτια ερμητικά κλειστά» του Φεβρουαρίου 2024.
Εννοείται ότι δεν θα παρακαλέσω κανέναν και καμιά κυρία να έρθει στην Εκάλη - συνεχώς ακούω δικαιολογίες που δεν ευσταθούν κατά την άποψή μου. Οι ερωτικές συναντήσεις κατ' οίκον διαφέρουν από τη νοοτροπία του κρεατοκοπτείου που αναπτύσσεται σε όμορους χώρους όπου το απρόσωπο σεξ παίρνει και δίνει. Εκεί εστιάζεται η διαφορά του mate swapping από το swinging, γιατί οι πραγματικοί swappers (swoppers) ανταλλάσσουν συντρόφους και δε συμμετέχουν σε ευκαιριακές μυσταγωγίες.
Ως εκ τούτου αναβάλλονται όλες οι ερωτικές συναντήσεις της περιόδου 2023-2024. Λαμβάνω υπόψιν μου επίσης τα πρόσφατα εβδομαδιαία ευρήματα του ΕΟΔΥ τα οποία εντέχνως δεν κοινοποιήθηκαν στον ηλεκτρονικό Τύπο. Σύμφωνα με αυτά της εβδομάδας 49, παρατηρείται αύξηση τόσο στα κρούσματα, στους διασωληνωμένους όσο και στους θανάτους.
